FINANCE ASSISTANT – PART TIME
Spirasi is an NGO that provides holistic rehabilitation services to
survivors of torture and their families who are seeking international
protection or are refugees. We want to recruit a Finance Assistant to
support the critical work of finance within the organization.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
ESSENTIAL:
* NFQ level 6 (or higher) qualification in Finance, Accounting or
Economics
* Work experience as a Finance Assistant, Account Administrator, or
similar role
* Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
* Excellent IT skills including Advanced MS Excel skills (creating
spreadsheets and using financial functions)
* Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Xero)
* Organizational and time-management skills and ability to take
initiative
* Excellent attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical
errors
* Able to work effectively as part of multi-disciplinary team and
independently.
* Good sense of self care
* Able to speak, read and write English to IELTS Level 8 (Expert
User)
* A suitable workspace if working remotely
DESIRABLE:
* Proficiency in a second and/or other languages
* Experience in working in a multidisciplinary health care setting
* Experience of working with people seeking international protection
and from refugee backgrounds, culturally aware
